Production Assistant

Ado Ato Pictures is seeking a Production Assistant  to support the operations of our studio.

This is a significant opportunity for an aspiring film and media producer to gain valuable experience while honing in their administrative, design, and technical skills in a creative and fast-paced environment. Our award-winning production studio is moving full steam ahead with our next productions and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and accustomed to multitasking in a fast-paced environment.


The Production Assistant will work with our growing team of artists, creative technologists, developers, and producers and also communicate with our partners and serve as a liaison between the team and our collaborators.



  • Support Creative Director, Producers, and other staff with the day-to-day operations of our studio, including, but not limited to: administration (e.g. office maintenance), management (e.g. hiring and supervising interns and other staff), and production (e.g. budgeting, scheduling, assisting with the production process)

  • Serve as in-house communications designer by creating effective, elegant, and exciting assets, presentations, and promotional materials, including documents, graphics, and videos for social media, print, and web

  • Support social media scheduling and asset creation in connection to our PR representative

  • Support the Producers in grant writing and research

  • Optimize and organize asset deliveries and asset management strategies

  • Problem-solve scheduling issues and help manage interns, freelancers, and artists 

  • Problem-solve for organizational and structural issues that may arise within the workflow

  • Perform other duties as assigned




  • Significant experience and/or education/training in film and media production

  • Strong graphic design skills, experience, and work samples, demonstrating a facility with Adobe Cloud programs

  • Sharp communication skills, in English  (verbal and written); Dutch and Spanish language skills are a plus

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and to both manage and report to team members with a readiness to adhere to deadlines

  • Strong interest in projects relating to topics such as world cultures, social justice, and LGBTQ and women's rights

  • Willingness to learn new skills as needed

We are currently producing multiple high-level projects toward major festival deadlines, candidates open to a 6-month contract (following an initial evaluation period) are preferred.
