An award-winning studio, with roots in Amsterdam and Los Angeles, we are a Black Latinx female-led studio that brings together expertise in animation, documentary, film, and tech to write stories you can touch and build worlds that surround you. We’ve partnered with Netflix, PBS Frontline, and the Sundance Institute and exhibited at top film festivals and museums like the Tribeca Film Festival, Annecy, the MoMA, the DuSable Museum of African American History, the National Gallery of Indonesia, and the Amsterdam Museum. Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It…


Ado Ato Pictures is currently seeking a Studio Operations Manager to join our innovative team in Amsterdam. You will oversee the daily operations at the studio making sure its day-to-day functions run smoothly. You will provide administrative and operational support to all areas of our business. You will report directly to Creative Director.


Responsibilities and Duties:


●      Managing all studio operations: keeping close track of ongoing projects ensuring that they are on schedule and that clients' needs are being met.

●     Managing all aspects of the budget for each project, along with financial tracking and controls. Efficiently managing studio time and the Design team, in accordance with the budget.

●     Assisting on creative production when needed and meeting with team members for feedback.

●     Creating and implementing deadlines, project goals, expectations and workflows, to ensure a smooth production process with on-time delivery.

●     Supervising and adjusting systems and processes so that the team is clear and aware of how the creative studio operates.

●      Managing and supporting the multi-disciplinary studio team which may comprise of a range of designers, creative directors, digital skills, and freelancers; setting daily priorities.

●      Liaising with clients to understand business and project needs.

●      Clearly communicating the client and project needs to internal stakeholders.

●     Ensuring that all studio rules and regulations are followed by staff and visitors

●     Assisting in hiring and training new employees ensuring all paperwork is completed, policies are understood, and newcomers feel welcome

●     Coordinating timesheet collection for bi-weekly payroll, working with supervisors to ensure all employees submit accurate timesheets in a timely manner

●      Overseeing the studio equipment

●      Preparing invoices for clients

●     Booking cleaning services as needed


Qualification and skills:


●     Minimum 2 years of proven work experience as a Studio Manager or Operations Manager

●     Strong knowledge of the design and production process is critical

●     Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite Tools

●     Excellent knowledge of studio equipment and devices

●     superior project management skills
