Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It...

 

Ado Ato Pictures is currently seeking an onsite producer to work with our innovative team in Amsterdam. You will organize and coordinate projects from the earliest stages of development through completion. You creatively strategize and supervise the entire operation. You represent both the project and the production team with your impeccable communication skills. You not only conceive of budgets and timelines, but make it your mission to adhere to them. You take an enthusiastic approach to problem solving. You have strong leadership abilities that positively inspire your team members. 

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Anticipating problems that may impede a project from completing on time and implement solutions

  • Working closely with the Creative Director in the creative process of various projects from concept to completion

  • Researching new technology and techniques that can be applied in production and post-production

  • Screening and hiring staff for the production including animators, illustrators, developers, and interns

  • Coordinating the activities of writers, artists, director, managers, actors, production assistants, and other team members throughout the production process

  • Be familiar and able to problem-solve post-production workflows: having an understanding of post-production software including Blender, After Effects, Unity, and Premiere

  • File management, communicating naming conventions and file standards to artists/production team, and ensuring that files are deliver ready for implementation/edit, cleaning Google Drive, hard drives, and computers regularly.

  • Communicating director’s feedback and instructions with artists

  • Crafting and implementing financing plans: assisting with grant writing and grant reports

  • Crafting and managing contracts, agreements, and NDAs 

  • Familiarity with different assets for delivery and their application in order to organize the workflow between different artists (file types include mp4, mov, hevc, webm, png, jpeg, png sequence, blend, fbx, obj, exe, build, psd, indd, ai, svg, etc)

  • Overseeing production team, monitoring Production Assistant’s completion of the following ongoing tasks: responding to the company email, accurately responding to Film Festivals, website management, intern management, job postings, office receipts and purchases of office supplies, speaking arrangements, travel arrangements, fabrication purchases, ect.

  • Respond to licensing and distribution requests

  • Design and edit assets as needed.

 

Qualification and skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in media production

  • Interest in sharing knowledge

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Sharp interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast paced environment

  • Great sense of priority and ability to work under pressure

  • Reliable, professional

  • Ability to work autonomously and with teams, as well as remotely

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Creative thinking and problem solving

  • Strong interest in projects relating to world cultures, social justice, LGBTQ and women's rights, and immersive media

 

Candidates open to a year-long contract (following an initial evaluation period) are preferred.
