Production Assistant

Ado Ato Pictures is seeking a Production Assistant  to support the operations of our studio.

This is a significant opportunity for an aspiring film and media producer to gain valuable experience while honing in their administrative, design, and technical skills in a creative and fast-paced environment. Our award-winning production studio is moving full steam ahead with our next productions and we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented and accustomed to multitasking in a fast-paced environment.


The Production Assistant will work with our growing team of artists, creative technologists, developers, and producers and also communicate with our partners and serve as a liaison between the team and our collaborators.



  • Report to Producers and Creative Director

  • Office management

  • Updating Timelines (using

  • Manage Scheduling for Creative Director and Producing Team 

  • Coordinate social media schedule and assign design/copy materials as needed

  • Post on social media and ensure branding strategy

  • Manage interns and provide feedback

  • Manage and facilitate intern hiring

  • Ensure asset delivery is being properly realized 

  • Fix any problems in the production workflow as needed

  • Assist in the preparation of grant applications 

  • Regularly update website using Wix

  • Regularly update press list

  • Help ensure all documents are properly filed 

  • Design assets as needed

  • Drafting letters, making phone calls, running office

  • Assisting Producers with duties on and off set

  • Liaising between the producers and the post production team

  • Helping prepare publicity materials




  • Significant experience and/or education/training in film and media production

  • Strong graphic design skills, experience, and work samples, demonstrating a facility with Adobe Cloud programs

  • Sharp communication skills, in English  (verbal and written); Dutch and Spanish language skills are a plus

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively, and to both manage and report to team members with a readiness to adhere to deadlines

  • Strong interest in projects relating to topics such as world cultures, social justice, and LGBTQ and women's rights

  • Willingness to learn new skills as needed

We are currently producing multiple high-level projects toward major festival deadlines, candidates open to a 6-month contract (following an initial evaluation period) are preferred.
